Christian Thompson at Trinity College

Artist Christian Thompson talks about his exhibition of photographic self portraits showing at Trinity College, University of Oxford.

For the first time in its 450 year history, Trinity College is using its Hall for an exhibition of one of its student’s work. Formal portraits that have hung in the Hall for many years will be removed and be replaced with contemporary works by Christian Thompson, an inaugural Charlie Perkins Scholar and one of the first Aboriginal Australians to be accepted into the University of Oxford in its 900 year history. The large scale photographic works date from 2003 to 2010.
